GameFly provides members with a diverse library of over 7000 video games from which they can choose to rent. Games are available for all recently released game consoles and handhelds, and are shipped directly from one of several shipping centers, depending on geographical proximity.
Popular titles as well as rare and lesser known games can be rented using the service, and an easy-to-use web interface allows browsing and searching for specific games. Members can have from one to four games rented at a time (depending on the membership level).

Lastly, if renting a title which is particularly memorable or enjoyable, members have the option of making use of GameFly’s ”Keep It” feature. This allows the game to be purchased at a discount price, and essentially serves as a “try before you buy” program. When making use of this feature, the original game packaging and manuals are shipped to the member at no additional cost, and the member then has the complete game, just as if purchased normally. Afterwards, the next rental title is shipped out and the cycle continues, allowing users to rent and purchase games for as long as they like.
